Randell John – Wedding and Portrait Photography
I’m a full-time - Professional wedding and portrait photographer in Bridgend, South Wales. Offering a totally bespoke wedding photography service to my clients.
I’m a qualified (LSWPP), insured photographer with the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP), and also a multiple ‘Gold Award’ competition winner.
What can I offer you?
I Genuinely care about my clients, and providing them with beautiful photography, has seen my services being recommended to others time and time again. When they first view their album, I want to amaze them, I’ve even had some brides shed tears of joy. The secret to creating a beautiful wedding album is careful planning, and as such I prefer to hold two consultative meetings before your big day. This is when we’ll discuss details, create a back up plan for bad weather, share ideas, and really get to know each other.
The real excitement starts with your free engagement shoot. I use this time to show you what transforms a nice photograph, into a beautiful wedding portrait. It’s the tiny details that count, a tilt of the head or a simple gesture with the hand can add so much meaning to a photograph. The photo shoot is actually a lot of fun, and every couple I’ve photographed have really enjoyed themselves, I’m sure you will too.
You can select your favourite image from the shoot, and I’ll have it professionally framed and printed by ‘Loxley Colour‘. The print is presented in a wonderful signature mount, which your guests can sign on your wedding day. It’s an elegant memento of a very special occasion.
On the big day itself, I’ll photograph you in a calm and professional manner, capturing events as they naturally unfurl, but also ensure I capture all the formal group shots and bride and groom portraits that will really set your photographs apart from all others.
All the preparation will have been worth it and, you can relax, assured that your photographs are going to be fantastic.
Albums, Prints or USB Drive – The choice is yours
I would prefer to present your photographs in a beautiful Graphi Studio Wedding Album, or provide prints. Presentation of my work is important to me, but if your budget is limited, images can be delivered to you on a Loxley USB Folio, with a licence to print.
If you like the idea of on-line sharing, then I’d be more than happy to host all of your wedding photographs in a password protected wedding gallery. Logging-in will not only let you preview you’re wedding photographs, but allow friends and family to order extra prints, or just simply enjoy the memories of the wonderful day they spent with you. On top of this, I’ll even create a separate on-line gallery for your guest to upload to, so that you have a central point to see all the fun memories they captured on the day.
The reasons why you should use a full-time professional photographer
Please take the following advice to heart – Don’t choose your wedding photographer based on lowest price. This is simply asking for trouble.
Anyone with a few hundred pounds can buy a consumer DSLR and lens, but it takes more than a camera to take professional quality photographs.
Wedding photography is one of the most demanding and technical genre’s of photography, An acute understanding of the quality and direction of light, church protocol, when and how to use the various techniques of flash and correct posing are some of the things a professional will understand.
Trusting the memories of your wedding day, to an amateur or relative will in all likelihood end in disappointment, and asking a professional to try salvage poor photographs, after your wedding, is even more expensive than hiring them in the first place.
I’ve actually had to do this for a couple who opted to hire a £300 a day photographer. It was heart breaking looking at the under exposed, grainy and out of focus photographs that were delivered to them.
So please, don’t just book the cheapest photographer you can find.
I want your wedding day to be a beautiful experience, and be photographed to the highest professional standards.
