Porthcawl Zombie Walk 2014randelljohnphotography.com
On Saturday November 1st, I braved the elements along 50 charity raising zombies to help raise money for Ty Hafan Children’s Hospital.
This was the second of an annual event organised by Chris Warlow of Porthcawl, and the poor weather didn’t seem to dampen the undead’s spirits this year, with the attendance nearly doubling on last year.
Chris decided to split the group into two, with different start points. One group gathered at The Rose and Crown in Nottage, and the second group started their walk from The Ancient Briton in Newton Village.
At 8.30p.m all the zombies began their creepy walk into Porthcawl town visiting pubs along the way, with the intention of asking for donations for their collection buckets.
If you’d like to take part in next years event, it will be taking place on the 31st of October.
You can contact Chris Warlow through their Facebook page.
It’s great fun, and everyone who takes part really gets into the Halloween spirit. The effort that goes into the make up and costumes is fantastic, and you’ll be welcomed with open arms and mouths – literally. 🙂
